As of March 15, The Lisbon Public Library will resume its normal hours with a few limitations and some familiar rules in place. Four patrons at a time may come into the library for no longer than fifteen minutes each to browse, check out materials, quickly access the computer or request a copy or print. Masks and social distancing are required. Four plastic book baskets will be set out on the curbside pickup table; patrons will pick one up to bring inside with them. When they leave, the librarian will sanitize the basket and return it to the outside table. If there are no baskets on the outside table, the library is at patron capacity. Toys, student computers and some furniture have been stored away to promote social distancing. Children are welcome with masks (on age two and up) and the same time limits as other patrons. Patrons who are sick are asked to stay away from the library until they are well. Curbside pickup will continue to be available. Call 455-2800 or email email@example.com with questions.
