A public showcase for local high school students nominated for All State honors in Individual Speech will be held in Heritage Hall at the Lisbon Public Library. These students will be performing at the Iowa High School Speech Association All State Conference at Iowa State University on March 25.

• Chester Rood, Poetry

All students are from Mount Vernon High School. Coaches are Tawnua Tenley, Mary Horst, and Grant Freeman.
