Even though the Lisbon Public Library will remain closed to the public, staff will be offering curbside pickup of materials starting on Monday, May 18.  Patrons may call the library at 455-2800 and talk to a staff member during the hours given to arrange for curbside pickup directly outside the front of the library.  Hours are Mondays 9 – 1, Wednesdays 4 – 8,  Fridays 12 – 5, and Saturdays 9-1.  Patrons may request specific items from the library’s catalog, which is accessible through the library’s website (www.lisbon.lib.ia.us).  They may also ask for a “grab bag” of books for children based on reading level and interest or for staff recommendations based on the reader’s preferences.  Library cards may be updated or issued with information given over the phone.  If patrons need copies or prints made, they may arrange that service with library staff.  Reference questions are also welcome.
