Summer Reading at Lisbon Public Library:  Reading Colors Your World!
Reading during the summer--anything, anywhere, anyhow-- is the best way to prevent "summer slide" and keep your kids on track to succeed.  The library wants to make reading a fun activity the whole family can enjoy safely and without having to travel or spend money!   Reading Colors Your World is this year's theme and once again Hills Bank is providing specially designed tee shirts.  Children will receive a tee shirt and reading log when they come to the library to sign up anytime after June 1.  Those who return their completed reading logs to the library at the end of the summer may choose a new book to take home.
Story Time at the Lincoln Square Park gazebo
Due to lingering COVID concerns, we've had to move our summer programming to the library's outdoor branch!  Lisbon Library story time will be Thursdays at 10:30 AM starting June 3 in the gazebo at Lincoln Square Park on West Main Street.  Miss Amy and Leo will be sharing stories, fingerplays and songs in an outdoor, socially distanced setting.  We'll even have some special guests presenting programs for us.  All children and their caregivers are welcome.
